Investment in Russian agriculture: legal and state support, financing tools
Forum history:
The idea of holding the Investment and Legal Forum Fields of Russia grew out of the Foreign Direct Investment in Russian Agriculture by Foreign Companies round table discussion held at the White Nights legal forum in St. Petersburg on May 28-30, 2010 (http://www.legalstudies.ru/spb2010.htm).
The forum concept and key ideas were developed and implemented by with the organizational and idea support of LegalStudies.RU and Legal Strategency GmbH (http://www.stratagency.com), with the direct involvement of Aleksandr Khvoshchinsky, Irina Kalinina, and Nataliya Anferova.
The I Investment and Legal Forum Fields of Russia was held on April 1-2, 2011 in Kursk (http://www.ratum.ru/i-investitsionnyi-yuridicheskii-forum-«russkoe-pole»). The idea of making the Forum mobile and holding it in different agricultural regions came up in the course of the Forum.
This year the hosts are Eberg, Stepanov, & Partners law firm, and the fine city of Rostov-on-Don.

Forum objective – to form a positive investment image for Russian agricultural production and processing. To provide information on the Russian investment climate – legal regulation of the activities of foreign investors in Russia, including regional features and particulars, ways to protect investments and assets, raising financing, including through IPOs, aspects of the circulation of agricultural land, protection selection rights, and other issues.
Target audience – foreign investors, heads of agricultural holdings and independent agricultural producers, heads of legal departments and independent lawyers and consultants, producers of material and technical resources, services, IT products, and software for agriculture, financiers, insurers, government officials.
